Here I’m working on an oil painting that's near finished.
The thing that grabbed me about this subject was how I could work the contrast of darks and light , I love it! This wasn’t someone I posed for this painting it was my 82 year old uncle who had fallen asleep one summer and I was lucky to have a camera to capture it for reference.

In the Studio you will see a new painting or sculpture that Joe is working on for the future.
The bald eagle in its majesty has fascinated Joe for some time. He felt compelled to do a sculpture to honor it.
Joe’s eye for detail is shown in these photos. Giving you a vision of how the completed work will look.
The bird has a 48 inch wing span. The total height of the sculpture when completed will stand about five feet tall.
